Here I am hiking in the mountains of Big Bear, in southern CA, at 7,000 ft above sea level. There were still patches of snow on the ground! I am wearing my special pink hiking gear, my bright orange sun hat, my pink backpack that says "Traci" on the back that I got when I was five, and enough sunscreen for everyone on the entire mountain. Serious gear for the serious hiker!
In the 6th picture down from the top, I was scared to death, standing on top of a bunch of huge boulders at the top of the mountain, ready to slip off and go tumbing down into oblivion at any second. I was saying "Quick! Take the picture before I slide off this mountain!!" Pictures taken 4/29/06.
